There is no fixed menu or set of ingredients for a full breakfast

A common traditional English breakfast typically includes back bacon and sausages (usually pork), eggs (fried, poached or scrambled), fried or grilled tomatoes, fried mushrooms, black pudding, baked beans and bread, either, or both, toast and fried bread. Bubble and squeak is a traditional accompaniment but is now more commonly replaced by hash browns.

My crochet breakfast features only bacon and eggs, but you could add some other ingredients I created for my Bibimpap – see Bibimpap Pattern.

This PDF contains 5 patterns: two types of bacon and 3 types of eggs (fried egg, whole egg and open egg shell).
If you prefer, you can choose to buy them separately, only the bacon’s pattern or only the eggs’ pattern – to buy them separately you can to my Etsy Shop, in the Crochet Patterns section.

  • The patterns are written in English, using US terminology.
  • Crochet skill level: Easy
  • Skills/Stitches required: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, magic ring (for the eggs), increase, decrease and back loop only.
  • The measurement really depends on the type of yarn and on the hook size you use, the measurements of my samples, using 2mm hook, are:

     Fried egg: 9cm x 9cm
    Bacon: 9cm x 3cm
    Open eggshell: 6.5cm x 3cm
    Whole egg: h4.5cm x 3cm
