Meet Eleonora
Hi, I’m Eleonora. I grew up in Milan and have been living in London since 2019. I left a corporate career to turn my lifelong passion for crafts into a full-time creative business. Creating with my hands has always been part of who I am - from crochet to sewing, from small handmade projects to full garments. I also have a soft spot for animals, especially cats. I started crocheting at a young age and later taught myself how to sew through books and online tutorials. Over time, I began experimenting with different techniques, patterns, and materials, discovering just how powerful and calming handmade creativity can be. That journey led me to share my knowledge online, first through YouTube and later through classes, patterns, and workshops. Today, I’m a crochet and sewing teacher, helping others learn at their own pace and find confidence through making.

How It All Started
My crafting journey began when I was around 10 years old, inspired by my mum’s crochet and knitting projects. My first creations were tiny skirts for my sister’s Barbie dolls. As a left-hander, learning wasn’t easy. Clear tutorials were rare, especially ones that worked for different ways of learning. Determined to keep going, I learned to crochet with my right hand and never stopped. Over time, I discovered and fell in love with sewing. I started with handmade Christmas decorations, then taught myself how to use a sewing machine - beginning with simple hems and eventually creating full garments, including skirts I made for myself when I couldn’t find what I wanted in shops.
From Passion to Profession
What began as a personal hobby slowly grew into something bigger. Today, Elendipity is a creative business offering crochet, embroidery and sewing classes, digital courses, patterns, and workshops, both online and in person. My teaching approach is practical, encouraging, and inclusive. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, my goal is to help you feel confident, relaxed, and supported as you learn. The name Elendipity comes from a blend of Eleonora and Serendipity - because this journey started by chance, and it continues to bring joy, creativity, and meaningful connections.
Why I Started My YouTube Channel
When I was learning, online tutorials played a huge role in helping me build my skills. I know first-hand how valuable clear, honest teaching can be. That’s why I created the Elendipity YouTube Channel - to share tutorials, projects, and creative ideas with makers around the world. My aim is not just to teach techniques, but to help you slow down, enjoy the process, and find peace and satisfaction in creating something by hand.
