This Beginner Crochet Course is perfect for anyone who has always wanted to learn how to crochet but never knew where to start, but it can also be very helpful for who already knows the basics and wishes to learn more.
THIS IS A ONE-TO-ONE COURSE, NOT A GROUP COURSE, SO YOU WILL BE GUIDED BY THE TEACHER INDIVIDUALLY.
In this course, you will learn the basics of crocheting, including how to hold your crochet hook, how to make basic stitches (moving onto more advanced stitches) and how to combine these stitches together. You will also learn how to read crochet patterns and how to finish your projects.
At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of achievement.
We are an AAP (Approved Activity Provider) for The Duke Of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) so this course is valid for the DofE – Bronze Level, Skills Section.

By the end of this course, you will be able to make a variety of crochet projects. You will also have the skills and confidence to continue learning and growing as a crocheter.
No prior experience is required.
As mentioned, if you are between 14 and 24 years old, you could use this course for The Duke Of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) as one of your courses for the Skills Section – with this course you will achieve a Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

The course is 13 weeks long at an hour each week
These can be 13 consecutive weeks, or a custom schedule as required
Here’s what’s included in the course (a more detailed schedule will be sent after booking):
As mentioned earlier, this course is an alternation of one-to-one online classes and offline (video) classes with assignments. (if you would prefer one-to-one IN-PERSON classes, please click here)
On the week where the offline (video) class is scheduled, you will receive an email with a password and a link where to access the video (private access, lifetime).
In the email, you will have all the instruction on how to open the video and how to complete the assignment.
Once completed, you will send a photo of the assignment for assessment, we will reply to you with our comments within a week from the receipt of the photo.

The course is suitable for beginners of all ages starting from 12 years old (adult accompaniment is not required).
It’s a beginner course for who never used a crochet hook before or for who would like to go through the basics with the help of a crochet teacher.
